UPGO TO PRESENT AT TECHCRUNCH DISRUPT'S START-UP ALLEY

San Francisco, CA - September 27, 2010 - UpGo is pleased to announce their Start-Up Alley presentation at this year's TechCrunch Disrupt conference in San Francisco. UpGo is giving the tech community a sneak preview of their grouping applications for Facebook and iPhone.

Using social data filtering algorithms and a unique visualizer, UpGo's apps give users an easy and intuitive way to sort their friends and contacts into relevant groups. By studying users' social graphs, UpGo sorts friends into useful clusters that can be saved into groups, or gives users the option to choose default groups such as "Classmates" and "Local Friends."

"Grouping on Facebook is not a pleasant experience. UpGo not only makes the sorting easier and more intelligent, but does it in a very fun way." said Adam Uhrynowski, Director of Marketing at UpGo.

Finally, users have the option to select events pulled from their own Facebook feed as well as those of friends they interact with most frequently. In addition to the Facebook events, users in New York City and San Francisco can access curated events delivered from UpGo partner, Pulsd.

As the first public view of this technology, UpGo hopes to gain valuable insight and feedback from their peers as well as meet potential partners and affiliates.
